Summer Activities You Don’t Want To Miss in Richmond Hill

What’s going on in Richmond Hill this summer? There are plenty of things to do and ways you can get involved in the community. Here are a few examples that you may want to note on your calendar.

Community Stewardship Event (Tree Care)

  • June 4, June 25, July 7, 2015 (6-8 p.m.)
  • Richmond Green Secondary School, 1 William F Bell Parkway, Richmond Hill, ON L4S 2T9
  • Please visit link to volunteer to be part of a team to improve the health of Richmond Green by nurturing the existing wildlife habitat. Event days will run rain or shine.

Concerts in the Park

  • Thursdays – July 9, 16, 23, 30 & August 6, 13, 20, 27, 2015 (7-9 p.m.)
  • Mill Pond Park
  • Sundays (Children’s Concerts) –July 5, 19 & August 9, 2015 (1-2 p.m.)
  • Richmond Green Park (Outdoor Amphitheatre)
  • 1300 Elgin Mills Road East
  • Bring a lawn chair, blankets and cushions out and make your own seating for these free, outdoor concert series.

Ribfest

  • Friday, July 24 –Sunday, July 26, 2015
  • Friday, 12 – 11 p.m.; Saturday, 11 a.m. – 11 p.m.; Sunday, 11 a.m. – 8 p.m.
  • Richmond Green Park
  • 1300 Elgin Mills Road East
  • Enjoy ribs prepared by teams from across North America at this three-day festival. Along with delicious food, you will enjoy live entertainment, a children’s indoor activity area, a children’s and toddler’s fun zone (with inflatables) and a beer garden.
